The centre is charity run and provides a wide range of activities and social events, as well as the halls being available for private hire.
The multi-sport centre is used extensively by club members and members of the whole community.
Wye Valley Volunteers offers services to people in need, resident in the communities of Bourne End, The Wooburns, Flackwell Heath and Little Marlow.
Bourne End Library is a community supported library run by Buckinghamshire Council Libraries Service.
This delightful club makes an ideal venue for birthdays, parties and receptions. Facilities include a lounge bar, snooker room, pool tables, function room with fully equipped stage and beer garden overlooking beautiful green fields.
Wooburn Residents’ Association meet on the second Monday of alternate months during the year.
Membership costs just £2 a year.
Meetings are hosted at The Wooburn Club.
Wooburn Narkovians Cricket Club are members of the Thames Valley Cricket League and affiliated to the Buckinghamshire Cricket Board. They regularly field two senior sides on Saturdays and Sundays, and have an expanding junior section, running teams at a number of age groups.
Currently the Cookham and Bourne End Rotary Club raise funds for so many projects including Youth Projects, such as school prizes, Youth Leadership Awards and Forest Schools; support for the elderly – concerts, teas, and Christmas fare as well as assisting in the sponsoring of vehicles, gardens for the disabled and the famous Penny’s Corner Peace Garden. They meet at 7.00pm on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month at the Kings Head Old Spot Pub, Little Marlow.
