New tool to help Bucks residents find volunteer opportunities
A new online platform, Volunteer Bucks, is now available to help people looking for volunteer roles in Buckinghamshire.
Run by local charity Community Impact Bucks, people can browse for local volunteering opportunities by personal interests, location, and availability via the online platform.
Free and easy-to-use, it has an interactive map which shows opportunities in nearby location and, for anyone who isn’t sure what sort of role would suit them, there is a helpful online quiz to suggest roles that match their preferences.
Those aged 18 or over can apply directly via the platform and, for younger volunteers (13-17 year olds), the Volunteer Bucks team is on hand to help find a match.
