As you may have seen on The Green, we have now installed our Welsh slate to commemorate the coronation of King Charles III.
The slate is a standing stone crafted from real Welsh Slate, giving a nod to his previous Prince of Wales status and indicating his love of nature.
The stone had to be set in resin, so before attaching the plaque we let it set fully. The blank stone may have confused some residents (as we have seen over on Facebook in the previous couple of weeks) but hopefully all is now clear with the plaque attached!
